Even door Instagram scrollen is prima vertier. Helaas is het vaak leeg vermaak, vooral als je geen mensen volgt die niets doen aan persoonlijke ontwikkeling. Om je feed voorgoed beter te maken, hebben we hier een handvol toppers die het volgen waard zijn.

Back in the ‘6 plate for reps’ club 🥰⁣ ⁣ I made a post the other day about why it’s really important not to be discouraged by a bad training session. Especially if you’ve been traveling, up late the night before, out of your normal environment, etc. Try not to judge the individual sessions. Treat them like a solid financial investment in the market. The market fluctuates up and down every day based on millions of variables. But you don’t want to sell an investment based on one bad day in the market anymore than you should judge your progress in the gym by a bad training session. ⁣ ⁣ In fact, the more advanced you get the more likely it is that you are going to have days where you just feel off as you push the limits of your performance. Just because your performance isn’t as good one day doesn’t mean that you are doing poorly. It just means it was a bad day. Take what is there on that day and the likelihood that you will have a great session the next time is much higher based on the law of probabilities. Properly periodizing your loading schemes, volume, frequency, and intensity can also be key to make sure you push yourself but not too hard. This is where having a coach can come in handy, someone who is emotionally divested from you is able to make better calls and not overreact to short term fluctuations.
